About Me & Disclaimer Lingo
You’ve heard that annoying phrase, when you call the doctor’s office for an appointment or to fulfill a prescription, “If this is a life threatening emergency, hang up and dial 911.” It comes on while waiting for instructions on which button to press to navigate through the phone tree and talk to a live, real person.
Similarly, this site is not a place for life saving brain help. I am, in no way, a trained professional on psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience or any other field that deals with the brain. If you read something here that resonates with you, great. Just know that it should not replace the help from a real professional. If you’re currently getting treatment from a professional, great! That’s the person you should be discussing any “Blessed Brain” resonating thoughts with because I’m just practicing blog writing here on a topic that I find amazing.
About me….I’m a middle aged (46), married (22 years to a wonderfully solid man), mother of one (14 year old uber smart son) living in a relatively small (and conservative) community. I work part time at the local library and really like my job. I’m in school, just about to get my associate’s degree from a community college and then onto a University to study communications and public relations. My likes? Eating good food, reading, nature, yoga, music, and conversations with friends. Dislikes? Hmmm…I try to avoid them. Lately, I’ve been easily annoyed at loudness and I shudder or recoil at violence.
