The human brain is like a muscle. It has the ability to change…physically change its structure with remapping and building of new neurons. This ability to change and constantly evolve as it relates to the brain is called neuroplasticity. It happens throughout our life. Learning a new skill, like a musical instrument or different language are activities that promote these neurological changes. When you do these things, you are working out your brain. A more profound example would be Moken sea gypsies in Thailand. They have the ability to stop an automatic reflex with the eye pupil which allows them to see with amazing clarity under water.
